Massage is one of the best ways to relax and rejuvenate as it promotes circulation, reduces tension, and helps to create a deep sense of body awareness.

The Therapeutic Massage is our most commonly requested massage because it encompasses different styles and massage techniques all in one, depending on your needs. Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system that can treat all kinds of conditions, both chronic (like arthritis), to acute issues (like allergies, a cold or a recent injury).  Chinese Medicine is a "Body-mind" medicine, meaning that it works to balance the mind and emotions while it is healing and balancing the physical body. Sometimes, acupuncture is also called "Complementary Medicine" meaning that it is a safe treatment that can be done to enhance and support other Western medical treatments.

Our acupuncturist believes in practicing medicine in a more complete way:  she incorporates acupressure or "tuina," a Chinese massage along with the acupuncture. And, she draws from moxabustion, cupping, and dietary, lifestyle and exercise recommendations as appropriate for the individual.  She treats all ages and loves to gradually educate her patients about the principles of Chinese medicine - there is a great deal of wisdom within it for creating balance and harmony in all aspects of life!
